The MMA community was glued to their screens. Some were cheering on the Chiefs, others, not so much.

Nate Diaz, a Stockton native, was pretty vocal about his disappointment. His fellow Californians fell just short. But hey, that’s the game. Most fighters were bummed about the UFC 300 main event fight announcement that never happened.

So, no main event for UFC 300 yet. And Kansas City? They’ve made history as the first repeat champions in the NFL in almost two decades.
