Paige VanZant vs Elle Brooke: Misfits Boxing 15 Main Event

Paige VanZant, a former UFC fighter, will return to the ring to face Misfits middleweight champion Elle Brooke in a boxing match at the MF & DAZN: X Series 15 event on May 25.

Well, well, well. Guess who’s back? Yep, you got it. It’s Paige VanZant. And this time, she’s stepping into the boxing ring.

Misfits Boxing dropped the bombshell on Friday. VanZant is all set to face off against Misfits middleweight champ, Elle Brooke. The big fight is the main event for MF & DAZN: X Series 15. It’s all happening on Saturday, May 25. And the venue? The NRG Stadium in Houston, Tex.

Now, Elle Brooke isn’t just your average boxer. She’s an influencer, an OnlyFans model, and an adult actress. She started boxing for Misfits last year. And boy, did she make a splash! She claimed the middleweight title with a knockout win over Andrea-Jane Bunker. And it only took her three rounds.

VanZant, on the other hand, is a UFC veteran. She shifted to BKFC in 2021. But she hasn’t fought in over two years. Her last fight was a loss to Rachael Ostovich at BKFC 19.

Brooke didn’t miss the chance to poke fun at VanZant. She responded to the Misfits announcement with a jab at VanZant’s combat sports experience. Or lack thereof.

Elle Brooke Instagram comment

“Her falloff needs to be studied. UFC to fighting me [crying emoji]”

But Misfits Co-President Mams Taylor sees things differently. He released a statement that was all praise for the upcoming fight. “X Series 15 will go down in history as the night the female division, in all of crossover boxing, was taken to a whole new level,” he said.

Taylor is stoked about the match-up. “It’s phenomenal and I can’t wait for it. May 25 will be another landmark night for the X Series.”

The card also has a co-main event. Former NFL All-Pro running back Le’Veon Bell is fighting Tristan Hamm. Bell has fought for Misfits before, in 2023. He won a unanimous decision over YouTuber JMX. The fight against Hamm is a quarterfinal match in the Misfits Cruiserweight Title Tournament.
