Raul Rosas Jr. vs Ricky Turcios at UFC Mexico City

UFC fighter Raul Rosas Jr. is set to fight Ricky Turcios at UFC Mexico City on February 24.

Raul Rosas Jr., the UFC’s young sensation, is all set to face Ricky Turcios. This showdown is scheduled for UFC Mexico City.

Who spilled the beans? Well, multiple insiders familiar with UFC’s plans. They confirmed the bout to MMA Fighting, following an initial report by Eurosport NL.

So, where and when is this happening? UFC Mexico City, folks! The event is slated for Feb. 24 at the Arena CDMX in the heart of Mexico City. And guess what? You can catch all the action on ESPN+.

Rosas Jr., remember him? The youngest fighter to ever sign with the UFC at the tender age of 17. He’s looking to build on his first UFC winning streak. This comes five months after he put a stop to Terrence Mitchell at Noche UFC last September.

Fast forward to now, Rosas Jr. is 19. He’s had to recalibrate his expectations after a rollercoaster ride. A debut win over Jay Perrin at UFC 282, then a shocking loss to Christian Rodriguez at UFC 287.

And Turcios? The Ultimate Fighter 29 vet is back in the cage. He’s fresh off a split call win over Kevin Natividad at UFC Vegas 65. That victory put him at a 2-1 record since his stint on the reality show.

What’s the main event at UFC Mexico City? A flyweight clash between ex-champ Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi is expected to headline.

A quick shout-out to MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin. He’s the guy who helped us with this report.
