Roman Kopylov Steps in to Battle Anthony Hernandez at UFC Noche, Replacing Chris Curtis

Middleweight MMA fighter Roman Kopylov, who has recently scored three straight knockout wins, has signed on to fight Anthony Hernandez at Noche UFC, replacing Chris Curtis for an undisclosed reason.

Roman Kopylov, the middleweight sensation, is looking to continue his successful run in the sport. Reports suggest that he has agreed to a fight against Anthony Hernandez, who has a record of 11-2 and 1 NC, at Noche UFC on Sept. 16. Kopylov is stepping in as a replacement for Chris Curtis, although the reasons for Curtis’ withdrawal haven’t been revealed.

Kopylov didn’t have a great start to his UFC career, suffering losses in his first two bouts. However, he turned the tide around and managed to secure three consecutive victories, all by knockouts. His most memorable win was during UFC 291, where he triumphed over Claudio Ribeiro, securing a victory through a stunning head kick.

On the other hand, Hernandez, also known as “Fluffy”, is looking to extend his own winning streak, having defeated his last four contenders. His significant recent victories include a third-round TKO of Edmen Shahbazyan in May, and finishing bouts against Marc-Andre Barriault and Rodolfo Vieira. His current UFC record stands at 5-2. Noche UFC’s main event will feature a rematch for the flyweight championship between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko, and the event is scheduled to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
