UFC 301: Michel Pereira Earns $50,000 Bonus for Defeating Ihor Potieria

Michel Pereira won a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus after choking Ihor Potieria unconscious at UFC 301, marking his fourth consecutive post-fight bonus.

Michel Pereira did a solid one for Mauricio Rua. He also pocketed some extra dough in the process.

This middleweight firecracker bagged another cool $50,000. How? By putting Ihor Potieria to sleep during UFC 301’s main card. Pereira’s masterstroke came just after UFC announced Rua’s induction into their Hall of Fame for 2024.

Remember Rua? Yeah, he’s the guy who lost to Potieria in his 2023 swan song.

Pereira’s on a roll, folks. He’s been cashing in those post-fight bonuses for four straight bouts now.

But Pereira wasn’t the only one laughing all the way to the bank. Caio Borralho, Maurício Ruffy, and Alessandro Costa joined the party too. Each of them pocketed an extra $50,000 for their Performance of the Night.

Borralho? He sent Paul Craig packing in UFC 301’s pay-per-view opener. Ruffy and Costa? They scored some jaw-dropping KOs against Jamie Mullarkey and Kevin Borjas in the undercard.

UFC 301? It went down on May 4 at the Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro. The main event? Alexandre Pantoja, the UFC flyweight champ, defending his title against Steve Erceg.
