UFC 302 Main Card Receives New Addition

Kevin Holland is set to return to the middleweight division for a fight against Michal Oleksiejczuk at UFC 302 on June 1 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Kevin Holland? Yeah, he’s making a comeback to the middleweight division. His next fight’s all set.

The UFC dropped the news during their St. Louis broadcast on Saturday. Holland’s up against Michal Oleksiejczuk. It’s a main card matchup, and it’s gonna be a big one.

The event? UFC 302. The date? June 1. The venue? The Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Holland’s history in the UFC is a bit of a rollercoaster. He had a long stint at 185 pounds, then decided to shake things up. In March 2022, he dropped to welterweight for the first time.

He stuck with the welterweight class for eight fights. His record? A mixed bag – 4 wins, 4 losses. His last outing didn’t go as planned. He faced off against former Bellator star Michael Page at UFC 299 in March and lost by unanimous decision.

Oleksiejczuk, on the other hand, is no pushover in the middleweight division. He’s coming off a quick 61-second submission loss to Michel Pereira at UFC 299. But he’s looking to bounce back.

And let’s not forget about the main event at UFC 302. It’s a lightweight title fight. Reigning champ Islam Makhachev is going head-to-head with former interim champ Dustin Poirier. Now that’s a fight you won’t wanna miss.
