UFC 303 Adds New Heavyweight to McGregor vs. Chandler Fight Card

The UFC 303 fight card, which marks the return of Conor McGregor, has been expanded with the addition of a heavyweight matchup between former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski and Martin Buday, which has been rescheduled from June 15 to June 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UFC 303 is shaping up, and it’s got everyone buzzing. The return of Conor McGregor is the cherry on top.

Andrei Arlovski and Martin Buday were supposed to duke it out earlier. But now, they’re on for UFC 303 on June 29. The venue? None other than the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Originally, their fight was set for UFC Fight Night on June 15 at the UFC APEX. Marcel Dorff was the first to spill the beans on this change.

Arlovski’s got a record. A long one. He’s been in the UFC game for a while now. At 45, he’s stepping into the octagon for the 42nd time at UFC 303. But he’s got a score to settle. Three straight losses have him itching for a win.

He’s had a good run before, though. From April 2021 to April 2022, he won four straight UFC bouts. And six out of seven before that. Not too shabby, eh?

Buday’s got his own demons to fight. His first UFC loss came in December, courtesy of Shamil Gaziev. He’s hoping to bounce back.

Buday, a 32-year-old from Slovakia, started his UFC journey on a high note. Four consecutive wins had him riding high. His victims? Chris Barnett, Lukasz Brzeski, Jake Collier, and Josh Parisian.

The highlight of UFC 303? McGregor’s comeback. After a three-year break, he’s facing Michael Chandler, his fellow coach from The Ultimate Fighter 31.

So, what’s the UFC 303 fight card looking like? Stay tuned for updates.

And while we’re at it, let’s have a little fun. How would you grade UFC 303 so far? Let’s hear it!
