UFC Austin: 10 Post-Fight Bonuses Awarded for Finish-Heavy Card

UFC president Dana White announced that all nine fighters who won their matches at UFC Austin, along with Fight of the Night recipient Ihor Potieria, received $50,000 post-fight bonuses, totaling $500,000.

Well, the MMA community has been hollering for a while now. They’ve been demanding finish bonuses in the UFC.

And guess what? UFC Austin was one heck of a violent night. So much so, it seemed to justify these bonuses.

Dana White, the big boss of UFC, made an announcement that got everyone buzzing. It was Saturday night, right after the event, during the post-fight press conference. He revealed that all nine fighters who managed to secure stoppage wins at UFC Austin got a hefty $50,000 post-fight bonus.

And that’s not all. The Fight of the Night recipient, Ihor Potieria, who lost a crazy back-and-forth brawl to Rodolfo Bellato on the preliminary card, also cashed in. So, in total, 10 athletes earned a combined $500,000 in post-fight bonuses at UFC Austin. That’s according to White.

The lucky bonus winners? They were Arman Tsarukyan, Jalin Turner, Sean Brady, Dustin Stoltzfus, Miesha Tate, Cody Brundage, Drakkar Klose, Jared Gooden, Bellato, and Potieria. A pretty impressive list, huh?

But let’s talk about the standouts. Tsarukyan, for instance, who knocked out Beneil Dariush with a sequence that was nothing short of a highlight reel. And it took him just 64 seconds in Saturday’s main event. Then there were Brundage and Klose. These two made UFC history by becoming the first fighters to secure multiple slam knockouts on the same card. And the cherry on top? They did so in back-to-back fights. Talk about wild!

Just to set the scene, UFC Austin took place Dec. 2 at the Moody Center. What a night it was!
