UFC Vegas 84: Jim Miller vs. Gabriel Benitez full card announcement

The confirmed full card for UFC Vegas 84 includes a light heavyweight rematch between Johnny Walker and Magomed Ankalaev, as well as a co-main event featuring Jim Miller and Gabriel Benitez in a lightweight matchup.

The full card for UFC Vegas 84 has been officially confirmed by the promotion, with a light heavyweight rematch between Johnny Walker and Magomed Ankalaev headlining the event. The co-main event will feature a lightweight matchup between Jim Miller and Gabriel Benitez. UFC Vegas 84 is scheduled to take place on Jan. 13 at UFC APEX in Las Vegas, and it is expected to air on ESPN+.
Walker and Ankalaev’s rematch was announced earlier this month after their previous fight resulted in a no-contest due to an illegal knee by Ankalaev and a controversial decision by the cageside doctor. Meanwhile, Jim Miller will be looking to extend his current UFC records with his 43rd appearance in the octagon, while Gabriel Benitez will aim to build on his recent victory and improve his overall UFC record of 7-6.

The two fighters previously clashed at UFC 294, with Ankalaev landing an illegal knee to Walker’s head, resulting in the fight being called off by the cageside doctor. The controversial decision led to protests from both fighters, and the situation almost escalated into a physical altercation before UFC CEO Dana White intervened to calm them down.
Miller, who holds the record for most octagon appearances and 25 wins in the UFC, will be aiming to add to his achievements in his upcoming fight at UFC Vegas 84. His opponent, Gabriel Benitez, recently secured a victory over Charlie Ontiveros and will be looking to continue his momentum with another win at the event.
