UFC Vegas 84: Pros React to Jim Miller’s Legendary Submission Win

Jim Miller secured his 26th UFC win with a third-round submission against Gabriel Benitez, marking his second consecutive win and fifth out of six as he aims to compete at UFC 300 in April.

Jim Miller’s still got it, folks. He’s still racking up those wins in the octagon. This past Saturday, he notched his 26th UFC victory. And how’d he do it? With a third-round submission against Gabriel Benitez, that’s how.

He didn’t just win; he made Benitez tap out. Used a face crank submission, he did. And with less than two minutes left in the lightweight co-main event of UFC Vegas 84, no less.

Call him “A-10” if you like, ’cause he’s on a roll. Two straight wins, five out of the last six. He’s on the road, alright. The road to competing at UFC 300 in April.

After the win, Miller had a few things to say. A few names on his mind. Paul Felder, for one. Felder was the color commentator for the event, by the way. Matt Brown was another name he dropped. And get this – even Brock Lesnar.

When Miller’s in the ring, people watch. His fellow fighters, they watch him real close. They saw another stoppage victory for the veteran fighter. And they had things to say.

Belal Muhammad, for instance, tweeted, “Hope they do a Faceoff between Jim and Felder.” He also said, “I wanna be like Jim Miller when I grow up.” Can’t blame him, really.

So, there you have it. Another win for Jim Miller. Another step on the road to UFC 300. And a whole lot of respect from his fellow fighters.
