The world of mixed martial arts, or MMA, is as exciting as it gets. Witnessing two modern gladiators square off in a ring with thousands of exciting fans surrounding them is one of the great spectacles there is. Because of the growth of the sport, we have reached the point where nearly every month brings us jaw-dropping, exciting MMA action, particularly in the UFC. The month of November 2022 is no different, with some exciting action that is likely to give fans and bettors some serious excitement and entertainment.

There will be several MMA events this November that fans should have circled on their calendar. Whether you are looking to bet on these events with websites like Bodog sports Canada or just enjoy the wild spectacle, November should be a good month for you and for the sport of MMA. Let’s look at some of the upcoming MMA events that will make November 2022 a month to remember.

UFC 281

The biggest event of the month, and the one that all MMA fans will have circled on their calendar, is UFC 281. This is a set of fights that will have fans absolutely thrilled. From top to bottom, this should be one to remember. There are two title fights that will be a big part of the draw to this one.

The first, the main event, features Israel Adesanya, the men’s middleweight champion, squaring off against the talented Brazilian Alex Pereira. Adesanya is a poised and talented fighter that is one of the best pound-for-pound MMA fighters in the world, but Pereira is a threat to his reign. It should be a joy to watch these two warriors exchange. The other title fight features Carla Esparza, the women’s strawweight champion, facing off against decorated veteran Zhang Weili, who is looking to earn back a belt. Weili is favorited in this fight, as she is a ferociously talented fighter, but Esparza is the champion for a reason.

While it isn’t a title fight, the other matchup that will have people paying close attention features men’s lightweight fighters Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler. Poirier is ranked 2nd in the division, and Chandler is ranked 5th, and the two have some bad blood. This will make for a wildly entertaining showdown.

The fight will take place on November 12th at Madison Square Garden, and can be watched on pay-per-view. All these matchups are final, barring injuries or withdrawals.

Two UFC Fight Nights

While UFC 281 is the main event of the UFC calendar in November, there are other UFC bouts that will be worth a watch. On November 5th, there will be an exciting UFC fight night that will feature some great fighters looking to earn their stripes. The biggest matchup of that fight night will have two major rising talents fight for a chance to rise up the rankings. This bout will feature Bryce Mitchell, a rising star, versus Movsar Evloev, an undefeated talent that is as dangerous as they come. The two are ranked 9th and 7th, respectively.

The other fight night, which will happen on November 19th, will have Derrick Lewis facing off with Serghei Spivac in a heavyweight bout. Derrick Lewis needs no introduction, as he is one of the biggest and baddest men in the UFC. He holds the record for UFC knockouts. Sergei Spivac is 27 years old and hails from Moldova. He has a chance to make a statement fighting against the much older Lewis in what should be a thrilling battle.

Other MMA Events

These events are exciting, but there is more to the world of MMA than just UFC. There will be some other major events in some of the other MMA leagues that will provide exciting options for those less interested in UFC fights.

Bellator is the second biggest of the MMA leagues, and November promises to have some incredible fights for fans of the sport. If you’re not interested in watching UFC on November 19th, there is a huge Bellator matchup that MMA fans are not going to want to miss. There will be two title fights that will feature talented fighters squaring off for a chance at history.

The light heavyweight title fight will have Vadim Nemkov go against Corey Anderson for the second time. Their first fight ended in a no contest, and Nemkov hopes to hold onto his belt and reaffirm his position. The other fight will have Patricky Pitbull, the reigned lightweight champion, go against Usman Nurmagomedov, an undefeated fighter that will look to claim the throne.

If you are an MMA fan, the month of November is one to be excited about. There are major UFC clashes with champion belts on the line and one of the best Bellator lineups you’re going to find.
