The UFC has added another fight that will sure to excite fans at UFC 249.
Sources with the knowledge that the booking is near complete informed MMAJunkie that the fight is set to feature on the UFC 249 card at Barclays Center. The UFC has not yet announced the fight.
Belal Muhammad (6-3 UFC, 16-3 overall) is returning to the octagon for the first time since UFC 242 victory over Takashi Sato in 2019. Muhammed, fighting out of Chicago, Illinois is riding a 2 fight win streak and is looking to make it 3 in a row. The former Titan FC Welterweight champion is a fan favorite with his charismatic personality.
Lyman Good fighting out of Manhattan, New York will be having a homecoming when he steps into the octagon. He returns to fight in his home state for the 2nd time in less than a year. Good (3-2 UFC, 21-1 overall) fought at UFC 244 in November of 2019. He defeated Chance Rencountre via TKO.
This is the 2nd time the UFC will look to book a fight between Muhammad and Belal. The pair were set to square off in 2016 but a failed drug test for Good halted the fight.
